No Active Sync after 5300Vn firmware update 3.3.5 was created by garob
Guys ,
I have a none UK supplied 5300 Vn . Configured and working fine out of the box with my Exchange 2010 server and updating my and my staffs Android / iphones . I updated the firmware to 3.3.5 , the latest available and now the router works fine apart from it won't sync active sync phones....
I ve tried DMZ in the mail server , checking SSL VPN is not enabled , switched off all external management ports....
The Exchange server uses SSL certificates and port 443 is NATed to the mails server . My web server forwards port 80 to the web server but changing this to the Exchange server IP has no effect ....
Anyone have any experience of this ?
Thank You ....
Gary

Replied by garob on topic *SOLVED* Re: No Active Sync after 5300Vn firmware update 3
I knew it was a port 443 issue so I trawled the router config and changed all the SSL ports for VPN, management , etc to non standard ports ie NOT 443 and NAted 443 to my Exchange server .
I have since found this Draytek document that explains what to do ..
