Can't connect to WPA2/PSK using 64char HEX Key was created by santarossa
I've just replaced my 2820Vn with a 2850Vn. I've managed to configure the new device more or less as I had the 2820 (barring any new features).
The 2850Vn is running Firmware Version 3.6.1_2471201 and during the WLAN configuration steps I set the WPA2/PSK key to my previous value using a 64char HEX key which I prefixed with the 0x string as instructed. Unfortunately I am not able to connect to the WLAN using my iPhone. This was working with the same iPhone and WPA2 key on the 2820. The iPhone config and OS version hasn’t changed since the introduction of the 2850.
I’ve been able to connect with WLAN security disabled and using an 8~63 ASCII character key. The problem only manifests itself using a 64char HEX key.
Is this a known issue or has anyone had a similar experience? I’ve looked through the forum and Googled a variation of key words but I haven’t seen anything reported on this issue.
Thx

I am pretty sure that 63 characters is the Max key length on MacOS/iOS.
