Draytek & Apple Wireless was created by ihomescheshire
Hi All,
I have installed Draytek Vigor 2830 with AP800 wireless access points on a few jobs and im struggling with WLAN connections with Apple devices. Im hoping someone has had the same fault and knows how to correct it. Basically it seems like apple devices seem to be problematic with the AP800's.
WAN access is always available from LAN devices and WLAN is strong from my windows Laptop.
Here are the settings i am using:
One SSID
Disabled 2 Subnets
Channel: Auto
Packet Overdrive Off
WMM Capable - Enabled as default
Antenna 2T2R
Tx Power: 100%
Channel Width Auto: 20/40Mhz
Security
WPA2/PSK with "AES" WPA algorithms
Key Renewal: 3600 Seconds
Operation mode is AP for single AP800 and AP Bridge-WDS for upto four access points
I hope someone else out there can help shed some light on this...

What channel are you using, try using one between 1 and 11.

thanks for the reply.
Two of the setups are using channels 2, 6 and 11 and another setup is just running auto but still having difficulties with all three systems. Good old americans not using channels 12 & 13.

Set it to good old WPA and your Mac devices will all be happy...
