How to Daisy Chain vigor 2820Vn was created by tehlirian
Hi,
I'm trying to configure my Draytek vigor 2820Vn router to be daisy chained from a sky ADSL router. The Sky router has no firewall so I want to use LAN to WAN to use the Vigor firewall.
I followed these steps:
1) Make sure routers have different IP address (Sky: 192.168.0.1, Draytek: 192.168.1.1)
2) Connect sky LAN port to Draytek WAN2 port
3) Connect PC to Draytek LAN port
4) Reboot router and PC
This didn't work - no internet access.
I next tried changing the Draytek IP address to 192.168.0.2 but then I couldn't connect to my Draytek router at all.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong with this configuration?
