Failover was created by robertb24
I have a Draytek 2830 and having issues with the failover.
The setup is as follows :
WAN1 : ADSL Broadband - 4mb
WAN2 : Fiber Broaband - 30mb
I have tried setting WAN1 as backup if WAN2 fails but I can never get it to failover correctly and had an issue last week where the fiber did fail but it would not connect to the ADSL unless I manually intervened and switched it on via the web config.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Router settings a pretty much standard apart from the fail over bit
thanks
Rob

How have you configured the failover? ARP or PING? I use ping and it works.

For me, and with ping, it still only switched on fail if I physically unplugged the cable, the ADSL / network failing on the other router didn't monitor & switch.
