Vigor 3900 routing mode was created by leemason
I've just installed a Vigor 3900 in a hosting rack that I have in a data centre. I've got a /27 range (e.g. subnet mask 255.255.255.224) and the 3900 is set to, for example, 1.2.3.34 with a default gateway of 1.2.3.33 (the Data Centres core switches). I need to be able to present hosts from behind the firewall which have proper Internet IP addresses. So for example I have a host 1.2.3.35 which is behind the firewall which I need to present through the firewall to the Internet. I can't use NAT because of the nature of the application. I've done it with other firewalls in the past but can't work out how to do it with the 3900. I guess I need the LAN and WAN both set to "Router" mode but after that I'm a bit stuck.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
