2910 URL List was created by gordoncopestake
Hi All,
I have an office using a Vigor 2910 as a router/gateway and have been asked to impliment logging on internet usage.
Is there a simple way to log the URL's being visited through the router?
I have managed to get a syslog server running with the "User Access log" being fed to it, which seems 95% of the way there, but this only shows IP addresses not URL's.
Is this possible or will i have to use a proxy instead?
Thanks in advance
Gordon

Hello, I think the latest version shows the urls
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/download/Syslog_451_Win.zip
- or I'm pretty sure it did when I was looking at something different (vpn troubleshooting) the other day with a 2955.
And, you could get a free OpenDNS account, and switch on logging. 2 weeks of statistics for free, easily sorted... and blocked if need be;)
Also, from a legalish point, you should have good user AUP's (Acceptable Usage Policies) in place, with every user having signed before you proceed, which state you may collate such information, otherwise you could fall foul.
Best regards, Neal
