Vigor 2955 with Vigor 120 not working was created by nickbiddle
Hi All
Wondering if anyone could help
I have a vigor 2955 with two vigor 120 going to ADSL.
When i first set them up I had difficulty with getting the second wan to work, the 120 will sync up with the exchange but it gets stuck on the PPP dial on the 2955. but after leaving it for a week i came back to it one day and it was working:shock:
ever since then (year or so) its been fine and worked great, until last week. I upgraded the router to 3.3.1 so I can use a 2048 SSL certificate. Since i've upgraded the router the second WAN hasn't work!
i am amusing it must be a setting somewhere in the 2955 that needs changing cos it was working fine before the upgrade.
here is a snapshot of the WAN log

I am thinking it could be a MTU issue. The Exchange is BeThere / O2 so the 120 is using VPI 0 /VCI 101/1483 Bridged LLC
any help would be great, thanks
Nick

Do you need to re-make the MPoA secion of http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb_vigor100_setup.html in to your newly firmware updated 2955?
also, 3.3.1 has been superceded withftp://ftp.draytek.com/Vigor2955/Firmware/v3.3.1.1/
not sure if this could also help to cure your problem? What firmware fo you have running on the 120's ?
Regards, Neal
