2850n and BT Infinity profile problem was created by deathlok
Hi All,
Just got a 2850n working with BT Infinity. That was fun! Not much in the way of specific set-up instructions which covered everything I needed to do.
Seehttp://forum.starplex.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=88&sid=911848b65dcaca44de726df8084a1bd1 for how I got it to connect.
But there is still an issue which I have had occur a couple of times.
The router has dropped connection and when it is trying to reconnect, it has tried to use profile 8a. This is despite the fact that in the VDSL setup section I have got 17a, and only 17a, ticked.
The result is no connection and I have to go on-site to my client and spend as much as half an hour of my time, rebooting the damned thing until it decides to use profile 17a
So my question is, why does it even try to use profile 8a and how do I stop it happening? Bearing in mind, as I said already, only profile 17a is enabled?
Many thanks!
