2820 - EFM Performance was created by dt2
Hi all
We've got an EFM connected to WAN2 and consistently I'm getting 17MB down, using Speedtest.net (or indeed any of the others.)
I only get 6 or 7 MB up though and so I was wondering if anyone else had got a similar situation and could they conifrm the best way to test upload. Is Speedtest.net an appropriate tester?
I am using the test on an XP box and I have heard that Win7 manages connections in a much "better" way. However I would have thought that if download is ok thne upload should read similar.
All bandwith/QOS settings are disabled in the Draytek.
Thanks.

Please don't give this any more thought!
I've done a couple of things;
a) Removed the port specific load balancing settings that we had. Then set WAN 2 to be the default
b) Increased the DefaultSendWindow on the XP box.
Now getting 18.8/14.8MB on Speedtest.net and 18MB symettrical on Thinkbroadband.
If you had looked into this a bit for me, thank you for your time.
Have a good weekend.
