High RX CRC on 2850 was created by old cole
Can anyone comment if they have seen high RX CRC counts on Vigor 2850 whilst connected to ADSL2 which ultimately leads to poor internet performance to the point where the only solution is to reboot? The router is using modem firmware 211801_A, SNR ~14, attenuation ~52 and TX CRC is zero

I have notice now with freezing weather i have some extra errors but can not blame the 2850 but may be the noise at line because of the weather change
Try modem firmwares 232201_UK_SEG (this should give you less attenuator) & 2471201 (this even less) & the 2nd is recommented from UK download page for major UK lines
As long you will use same firmware with the one you have now (example if you have 3.6.3_211801 then use modem code firmware 3.6.3_232201) then you don't need to do master reset
Hope will not need any more reboots at least so often

Many thanks babis3g I have applied the firmware version, 2471201. I'm still getting quite high CRC errors, 3600 after 70 hours, but the router hasn't needed rebooting since applying the revision. The SNR is 15 and attentuation 48.
Many thanks
