2850n VDSL and ADSL Dual WAN settings was created by pgudge
Hi,
I'm on Digital Region (VDSL) and Plusnet (ADSL2), when I connect the splitter and fire up the router both lines sync, WAN1 (ADSL) connects fine and I can reach the internet, however the WAN4 (VDSL) port won't let me select anything but PPPoE, Static, or PPTP. I guess it needs to be PPPoA aswell, but there is no option for this. The WAN4 status just shows
Message [ PPPoE : No response from server side. ]
I take it, it should be possible to have a PPPoA connection on both the WAN1 and WAN4 port simultaneously? but how?
Thanks for any info.

Hi
Dont know if needs pppoa but At pppoe did you add your username & pass? to see if works
Talk Talk to connect with vdsl it needs static or dynamic ip option so check what needs for digital region
An important point is to check at WAN >> General Setup>>wan>>VLAN Tag insertion enable>>tag value 101
Then WAN>> General set up>>Enable Dual DSL
Each connection has to set up different depending what each provider use
Also here some screenshot with small info

DUDE! Nice one, all working
I didn't have the VLAN Insertion enabled, enabling and adding 101 failed (as expected) after a quick 1, 2, 3 burst, I got to 10 and logged right on in there
After a quick search it looks like quite a few DR ISP's are on 10, I'm on Ask4 and I've just read Origin is also on 10.
Thanks for the reply, and the solution

Yeah
FTTC is Fibre To The Cabinet (there after from the cabinet to premise/home via normal cooper line or VDSL as you called)
My line is not going to any cabinet so not FTTC/VDSL for me but just the normal adsl (broadband)line
