Could you please help me. If Firewall DoS defense is activated then after couple of hours Web interface crushes.

dont know the model you have but with 28... series is low
try set values from 150 to 250 or 450 and see if still crashes
You also if you have load new firmware example from 3.6.2 to a higher o, lower (example 3.6.3 , 3.6.1) you need to use the rst file which cleans all previous bugs and resetting new firmware

Can I restore settings from backup file after resetting or I need to configure again?

if you are using same firmware can use back up
Let say you want to load one time same firmware or change modem codes but with same firmware is fine
If you want to use other firmware then config back up may work but bugs will carry on to the new firmware
If you have not much to set up do all from the begin
Personal i wait a day when i have some more time and i do all back from begin if new firmware comes out

I've amended those values and it looks like it's fine. So I'm gonna stick to these settings for now.
