2830vn Connection issues - BT was created by floatingjimi
Hi All,
I replaced the home hub I have as I was unable to get a connection from my Philips Smart Tv. The Draytek went in on Thursday and was brilliant - good speed etc and able to connect with the TV.
Last night I found that connection speed had dropped and today it was pretty much unusable. On swapping back to the home hub, there is a variation of speed - home hub is achieving - 6.8 whilst the draytek will only get to 3.5 and it is is slow.
DSL is connected, ethernet cable in GigaLAN 4 - nothing has changed - any ideas please?

See what firmware you have System Maintenance >> Firmware Upgrade
Make sure you did not had outage or fault at your area exchange
Did you tried to reboot if will resynchronize again ok?
You can always get the recommenced UK firmware from here
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads.html
But make sure you if got the Single Band or the n-plus model

Showing 8128000 as the down speed - to the box - but not on from there.

can you try from here the alternative Annex A for modem code 2471201 and see if is better?
If you all ready have it ignore my post
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads.html
If is 3.6.3 the one you have just use the all* file (the rst will reset everything and not needed because are same firmwares so is fine)
PS
but make sure to download the correct one (n for single band 2,4G or dual band for plus 5G band at wifi)
