2830n+ constant reboot - Nexus 4? was created by revo2wheels
Device 2830n+
When I upgrade from V2830_v3.3.7.1_db_A_211801 to v2830_363db_211801 firmware the device goes in to constant reboot once Wireless service starts. I have managed to get into the wireless config to disable this before it starts and the device then stops rebooting and stabilises. I have noticed that we are having issues with two Nexus 4 devices that may be the cause of the reboot with upgraded firmware. If I downgrade to V2830_v3.3.7.1_db_A_211801 [edited] and enable wireless then all devices including the Nexus 4 operate correctly (although the Nexus 4 Wifi appears slower than other devices to load data by comparison). I have managed to replicated this twice now and downgraded each time to operate successfully (all be it with poorer Nexus 4 performance).
Anyone else seen this issue:?:

3.6.3 is the newer firmware, so it's good that it fixes it?

Ah nicely spotted the version error .. should read downgrade to V2830_v3.3.7.1_db_A_211801 - awaiting draytek response to understand if its same issue as HTC One X (now that I'm aware of this also) and is fixed with latest RC firmware.
thx

It's weird if it is like the HTC problem, I've got a nexus 7 with the newest firmware (I think 4.2.2?) and that doesn't cause any restarts with my 2830 router

There's a beta firmware for the 2850n which stops this problem. Sounds like yours is a similar one. Give Draytek support an email about this and see if they have a beta 2830 firmware.
