Draytek 2750n on Zen Broadband
Vigor 2750n Slow Upload Speed was created by suprawez
Hello All,
After switching from my HG612 modem and TPLink TD-W8960N combo to a Draytek Vigor 2750n all in one solution my uploaded speed reduced.
I have tried playing with various settings in the Draytek and nothing seems to be making any difference, switching back to the modem and TPLink sees the upload speed increase again, I have tried the latest firmwares available including the beta release, both have the same result
Firmware Version : 1.5.2RC3 Beta
Build Date : Jun 26th 2012
Applicable Models : Vigor2750n / 2750Vn
Modem Code : 1413c1
Locale : UK Only / Annex A Only
Firmware Version : 1.5.2
Release Date : 15th October 2012
Build Date : 10th Sept 2012
Applicable Models : Vigor2750n, 2750Vn
VDSL Modem Code : 1412f0
Locale : UK Only / Annex A Only
Any ideas?
Here are the tests from BT broadband tester, speedtest.net results are almost identical and also show the slowdown :-

I heard few having problem with upload speed but here some points you can try
1-
VDSL Setup.Try there tick only 17a profile or 30a and also try tick only carrier A43 or B43
2-
wan internet access try MTU at maximum 1492 (or if will allow you try 1500)
Is worth it try down to 1490
VLAN Tag Configuration check to be 101
Redial policy always ON
3- disable NAT Hardware NAT
4- check DoS & QoS if can turn it off (if this can be done with the 2750)
5- disable bandwitch and session limit
6- check fire wall settings
I Don't have the 2750 but draytek UK has a guide about
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb/kb_vigor_v2750_setup.html
NOTE EDIT
Remember if will make many on/off reboots it may DLM at cabinet lower your profile so leave the draytek on few days to go up again the synchronism of the line

Searching around this morning it would appear this is a common problem with this device, I am wondering if its faulty hardware as it appears that some work fine while others are suffering.
Apparently this unit uses the same chipset as the HG612 modem so in theory the it should work in the same way, which leaves only software / firmware or hardware faults.

Someone did recommend these QoS settings which I havent yet tried but I did try setting all traffic to high instead which makes no difference.

i did not look in details the links you have provided but as far i know (having few draytek models) their using different ... so i don't think it uses same chip as the BT modem
If you want to know (and for my own interest) what is the chipest then enable telnet and telnet the status

Telnet / SSH access on the 2750 doesnt get you the normal CLI command interface as its based on OpenWRT.
What command do you want me to try?
