2830 syslog logging to USB was created by mundayac
I'm trying to get the syslog to go to a USB device.
I've checked the Draytek FAQ and tried several different types of USB storage.
I've left this running a few weeks and across several router restarts.
So far I've not seen any sign that the router has created a syslog directory or any .log files.
Is anyone else seeing problems?
Has anyone else found that this just works? If I'd be intrigued as to the type/size of USB storgae used.
thanks
Alan
[UPDATE]
As I have access to multiple 2830's I've tried syslogging onto USB's on a few other routers. So far none appear to work.

I noticed this on my 2850vn, certain usb flash drives worked and others didn't.
I have had luck with Maxell flash drives but my integral ones wouldn't work for ftp or syslog
