Does anybody know how to stop a pc (running windows 2003 server) being woken from S3 standby by ARP broadcasts from my Draytek 2850.
Already tied binding the MAC address to the IP address but the router still sends out arp broadcasts causing the pc to wake from S3 every few minutes.
Is there a cli command to stop the router broadcasting arp packets to said pc??
Thanks in advance

Hi, just to clarify about bind ip address because i don't think you need to use mac address to block
(bear in mind the example i am giving have not use it with servers)
At left is showing the devices are connected
Set auto log .. to off if you have many devices and take long time to complete redistration
Take time and register at right the devices you want to allow access (adding mac address as well & ip
When you done it click ok first ... then click Strict Bind
The registested devices at right should have acceess
The devices you did not register at left window should not have any access and does not matter about their mac because they are not register
Is this the way you done it? Thanks
