2820 connected via WAN2, from 2830 to extend LAN was created by fritserasmus
I am using a 2830 as my primary Router configured to supply internet with a backup. All works fine.
I have configured the 2820, in my basement to supply internet in the basement and to be on the same network like being able to browse a server next to primary router.
From the secondary router I can "Network Connect" to a PC on the primary Router's network (upwards) [Internet works fine. Printing to the networked printer via shared printer works, although not ideal as the PC that is sharing the printer might be switched off then I am stuck] but I cannot connect to a PC to browse that PC on the secondary network. (downwards)
Info
Primary:
2830
192.168.1.X Subnet 255.255.255.0
Secondary:
2820
192.168.2.X Subnet 255.255.255.0
I tried to configure secondary to do a DHCP Relay, but once that is done I can no longer access the secondary router.
I do not know if that is the correct thing to do either.
Could any of you perhaps assist in setting this rig up?
Thanking in advance
