Restoring a 2910 config to a 2920 router

Restoring a 2910 config to a 2920 router was created by gordoncopestake
I have an old 2910 that has died and i'm about to replace it with a 2920.

can I use the backup config file I have from the 2910 to restore the 2920 to save me having to manually put all the settings back in?

Hi
As far i know drayTek suggesting not even use old config with even same model but different software (older firmware) due to new added features or previous bugs can cost issue
So my say is NO especially with different model
