It appears you have to set the date via NTP and cannot set it manually.
I couldn't set the correct date on mine until a WAN connection became active, then it picked it up.

thanks but...
Options are to update time/date via NTP or Browser ONLY (I have tried both and rebooted several times). WAN has been up for 5 days.
Neither update the date , only the time. The time on the router is correct.
FYI: NTP does not update date, only time.
Current System Time : Sat Jan 1 00:02:37 UTC 2011 Should be todays date

Hmm, weird, mine updated fine from NTP, eventually
I've had a look again, and it seems can manually configure the date and time, but using telnet
Login, then use the following commands
enable
configure system
ntpclient manual

I also seem to remember, to get it to pick up the date/time via NTP, I had to click Apply on the settings once the WAN was active.
If I just left it after configuring in an offline environment, it didn't do anything.
