2760 lost sync at wont reconnect was created by andyfitter
At around 10pm last night my 2760n lost sync on my plusnet Fttc connection. Up til now it's been rock steady for a month. It can't even sync, or if it does, it drops again after a second or so.
I switched back to my original ECI/technicolor combo and it syncs and connects straight away.
Tried again this morning and 2760 still won't sync, original kit still fine.
Fault on the 2760 or some kind of BT change that has rendered the 2760 incompatible?

Check plusnet forum if they are changes ... check again the vdsl setting such pppoe v tag etc if any setting disappeared and causing the disconnection ... there is a new firmware v 1.1.1 to try but if you have this one already try the 1.0.2.1 which was reported is more stable

Thanks. I tried 1.1.1 and it was a disaster. No wired LAN connectivity at all.
Time to check the Plusnet forums I guess.
Andy.

Leave it plugged in without touching it for 10 minutes. It can take up to 6-7 minutes to reconnect after a failure, god knows why, I debugged the PPP on one for ages and never got to the bottom of it.
Otherwise take a look in the system log, as it's running unix it gives you lots of info.

Just put my glasses on and realised that says 2760 not 2750, to which my experience relates. Might be worth trying anyway.
