THANK YOU SO MUCH.
After 3 weeks with DrayTek support re my 2860n - this has just solved my issue.
Anyone having problems - use Telnet to disable option 60, set 61 for good measure.
Seconds after - connected!

ooh, more good news! I was playing around with a 2860 (which has 3.7.3 RC7 firmware) which does NOT have that in the web interface but it does have THIS hiding away in the telnet interface!:Voodle wrote:
Almost makes me wish I was using Sky (I'm actually on a terrible plusnet ADSL connection but I find this stuff really interesting)

haha wow, that's all it takes, nicely done working it out
If you let draytek support know then hopefully they might add something in to the firmware to sort those DHCP options automatically

Way ahead of you! Have let them know.
Just super stoked that I can finally load balance between my Infinity and Sky Fibre connections -- you know, the sole reason I upgraded my routers;)
Ref for anyone else with similar frustration - it's as simple as
FYI - I'm running 3.7.3 RC6 at the minute.

Code:
// Disabled option 60

// And explicitly set the login string using the same interface
> ip dhcp option -e 0 -w 2 -c 61 -v "youruser@skydsl|yourpass"

NICE ONE!
im running a 2830 here, and didnt have the DHCP options in the current release firmware (3.6.4)
I had a beta from draytek, which had these options, but i only attempted to disable option 60, i didn't even think of force enabling option 61, as i could see the router already outputting this in wireshark.
nonetheless, i force enabled option 61, and i now am running on SKY MER without the SKY router on a 2830.
Feed back to Draytek too, so lets hope they do a permanent fix.
