I was hoping to use my old Sky router, the Netgear DG834GT, as a wireless access point to provide a better connection in other rooms, I connected the router to my network using some homeplug adapters and they all connect great. Devices connecting to the Netgear router get their IP Addresses from the Draytek Router as I disabled DHCP on the netgear, however, if I then try and force the device to connect direct to the Draytek 2830n with WIFI after it's connected to the Netgear, it sits at obtaining IP Address and won't get an IP Address until I reset the Draytek Router. Unfortunately, this defeats the object of having 2 wifi access points. Anyone got any ideas of what I could try to fix this ?
Note. If I connect to Draytek first, then connect to Netgear, I get an IP both times, it's only on connecting back to the Draytek after I've connected to the Netgear.
Firmware of my 2830n is up to date.
Model Name : Vigor2830n
Firmware Version : 3.6.4_db_232201
Build Date/Time : Mar 19 2013 11:34:48
Thanks in advance.
