Hi,
Having some problem setting up the EE dongle with a drytek 2850Vn, i have the below settings in place:
PIN Code: blank
Modem int string: default ( AT&FE0V1X1&D2&C1S0=0 )
APN name : everywhere
PPP username: blank / (eesecure) tried also
PPP Password: blank/ (secure) tried alsi
PPP authentication: PAP or CHAP
I have tried a number of combinations of dial strings and username and password all dont seem to work.
In the sys logs i get the error:
IPCP fail
any help would be appreciated..

You normally always need a pin code for EE 4G dongle, the same PIN as in use when you use the Windows connection manager (no way to remove PIN using EE software).

Just bought one of these devices too. Speed is really rather good and useful for backup because I've been having issues with my ADSL lately. Tried to download the USB monitor programme as recommended here, but it crashes for some reason on my PC... I have also tried these settings and using the default PIN number of 1111 but it just doesn't seem to work.
Looking online only one other Alcatel product looks to be supported by Draytek. I will try and install the USB monitor and send the log info to Draytek on another machine. Hopefully it may be supported in the future because so far 4G is much faster from my tests compared to my really old 3G dongle.

Has anyone managed to get this working?
This is with the Alcatel onetouch L800 EE 4G LTE dongle.
I'm on firmware 3.6.4_2471201 and get IPCP fail in the syslog.
Thanks
James

Has anyone managed to get the dongle working? I've a client site with very dodgy ADSL and the only data network they can use is EE, can't buy any other USB modem from EE (at carphone warehouse at least).
