2830 - good download speed but speedtest very slow was created by eddscott
I noticed our internet seemed slow so ran a speedtest check and it comes back at 1.2Mbs. But the router stats below would indicate it should be alot quicker. It has been around 8Mbs for a week or so since installing the new 2830.
ADSL Information ( ADSL Firmware Version: 232201_A)
ATM Statistics ...TX Cells ....RX Cells..... TX CRC errs ......RX CRC errs
......................65065........ 5749........ 0............... 61
ADSL Status .........Mode ......State ........Up Speed..... Down Speed..... SNR Margin..... Loop Att.
..........ADSL2+(G.992.5)....... SHOWTIME...... 1095111...... 12665402..... 6.............. 39
The CRC errors seem quite high - could that be whats wrong?

The errors "RX CRC errs 61" does not look bad reboot modem and try with different speed test
Also go at LAN >> Bind IP to MAC ... Diagnostics >> View DHCP Assigned IP Addresses ...to see which devices are in your network ... maybe someone is using continuously your connection?
Diagnostics >> View DHCP Assigned IP Addresses if you enable will show current activity
You can also check your adsl filters
Keep and eye at SNR margin if is falling to low (maybe under 3-4db) to cost low speed
