WEP keys display characters was created by invigor8
Although there must be a way, I haven't found out how it's done. The WEP Keys in the configurator of my Vigor 2830Vn router are showing as asterisks, is there a way these codes are displayed as characters.

Interesting yes! The interesting thing is that if you want to know the actual code in characters, you can quite easily do that from a windows 7 computer that's on the network - so there's a coach and horses etc. I don't know why you can't do that in the configurator when you've actually logged in - it's possible to do it on other makes of router!! What can Draytek possibly think they are securing? If it can't be done, then that's a problem and the only way out is to enter in new codes and make a note of them - or get it from network computer with absolutely no security. I can't imagine this hasn't been an issue yet.
