Bind IP to MAC & DHCP Host ID was created by hegsie
Hi,
I've noticed that when I bind a specific IP to a MAC the DHCP table host id, doesn't get registered, this in turn means that when using AFP (Apple File Protocol) the device cannot be connected and doesn't show up in finder on my Apple laptop. Does anyone know if there is a way to make the host id get registered when using Bind IP to MAC?
I've also tried to use a static IP and that creates the same situation as the NAS doens't show up in the DHCP Table.
Regards
Ben

If i understand correct ... you need first to enable bind, then register your device >> enable >>then ok button...
there after if you choose "string bind" the unregistered devices will not have access no matter if they have passwords of wifi etc ... but registered devices will have access
