3G/4G support through phones? was created by deltamikealpha
I've got no idea whether this is - and my inclination is that it's not possible - but is it at all possible to set up an Android or iPhone tethered connection on any of the Vigor routers?
Basically I've just moved house - and am moving from 2 fibre lines to being able to get a 3mbit at best line - the idea of paying for that service now pains me. My Three phone sees ~20mbit at the property.
Problem is - I need to be able to have wired connections for a couple of devices. Three don't allow use of all you can eat data plans in 3G dongles, and I need more than 1 device online at a time generally.
I'd love to be able to tether directly to my Vigor router, and share that connection out.
Any help appreciated!
Dave.

Awesome - I'd looked for something like that but not seen it, nice one! -- believe, though don't know that it could be this - not updated since 2010 though:

Nooooo
Sorry for getting your hopes up. I did say I stumbled across it. When not supported - I wonder if a cheap iPhone 3G would work or is it the newer Draytek models that it won't work on either? It seems no good on iPhone 4 (so 5 etc also no good). I wonder if 3G would. Shame I sold my iphone 3G now.
Good luck and report how you get on. I'll have a play too but without an old 3G I feel a big waste of time - probably
Again - apologies for getting your hopes up
