AP-800 & RADIUS Server was created by ianmostyn
Hello,
I am trying to setup an AP-800 for wireless access for staff at work and would like to use the in-built RADIUS server for security. I have gone to the security settings on the wireless LAN tab, selected a mode that includes 802.1x (WPA2/802.1x) but there is no option on the screen for PMK Cache. This is a setting shown in the manual but with firmware 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 it seems to be missing. Am I missing something elsewhere or can I not use the internal RADIUS server? Because I cannot set a PMK cache, the unit wont let me set-up any RADIUS authentication.
Thanks, Ian

Thanks for the help but it is not the RADIUS server that is the problem - AFAIK that is working just fine. The problem is getting the AP-800 to display the correct options on the Wireless security page so I can use the RADIUS server to authenticate users. The firmware seems to be missing the same settings as displayed in the manual

Not in firmware 1.1.0 to 1.1.2
I have eventually got it working by setting up an ubuntu box as a RADIUS server on the network, using a mixed WPA / WPA2 / 802.1x network. This allows me to use the RADIUS server for authentication and I guess the built-in server doesn't work. Maybe with a future firmware upgrade????
Thanks for your help,
Ian

It's in mine with version 1.1.2
It's two places under radius where you setup users and then under wireless.
