Hello, I have setup a user management system so each user has to login before they can access the internet but the router won't apply the particular firewall rules to the logged in user. It won't block the user but if I apply the rule directly on the firewall it works. :?
I'm using example of 'Bob' a user
Router is Vigor 2860n
Setup:

Firewall>General Setup
(Filter = Pass)
(Web Content Filter =None)

Firewall > Filter Setup > Default Data Filter>Rule 7 -Bob
(Direction: LAN... - WAN
(Filter: Pass if no Further Match)
(Web Content Filter = Bob)

User Management>General Setup
(Mode-UserBased)

User Management>User Profile
(Bob)

User Management>User Profile>Bob
(Policy Set 2 Rule 7 - Bob)

I found the solution it turns out it was due to me setting a firewall rule that was activated on the second set of data filters I moved I to the top of the first set for the data filter and now all the filtering works like a charm.
