2925 load balancing was created by romolo
Hey All

Got a new 2925 to replace my 2820 as we have 2x bt fibre lines.

All has gone well, however, unsure how to get load balancing to work properly.

I have set under Wan->General Setup that both WAN1 and WAN2 use load balancing (a tick box) and they are both set to ALWAYS ON (auto negotiate as well not according to line speed)..

Yet when I go and start off a handful of 1gb downloads from http://www.thinkbroadband.com/download.html on several computers I just see in IE downrate keep reducing with each new download and not kick in with faster.

i.e. I first see 1x download = 8Mbps, 2x = 4Mbps, 4x = 2Mbps.

But I really have 2x 8Mbps per second available on WAN's so how do I get second line to kick in?

BTW: Latest Firmware: Vigor2925_v3.7.3.2

Many thanks in advance

Thanks for that.

Looks like you must set a line speed to get the 2nd line to kick in when under load.

Manual says that if you leave as automatic that it should do it, but it is definitely not.

Any thoughts on that?

Thanks
