2830n vodafone k4201 was created by mike petty
Does anyone know whether the Vodafone K4201 3G dongle is compatible with the Vigor 2830n? If so, what are the settings.
It is not shown on the DrayTek lists as being tested with the 2830n, but technical support says that it may be compatible.

Have you tried a google search if will bring anything with draytek ... anything draytek modem result in the search should work for the 2830 because their UI 7 firmwares are about the same Please Log in or Create an account to join the conversation.

Thanks for your prompt response.
I'm aware of the models you've listed. The issue is that they are no longer sold by Vodafone. I've been supplied with a K4201, which seems to be their replacement for the earlier models. I've had a good trawl through the interweb and have tried all settings that I could find, but with no luck so far.
I may have to buy a secondhand version of an older model, but thought that I would persevere with the K4201 a little longer.

Tried a K4201 with the V2830 with the latest firmware (3.6.7). It doesn't work
I do have an old K3520 dongle which the V2830 should support, but the SIM card used by the K4201 is not suitable for the K3520.
