I'm trying to set up a DD-WRT DMZ host with Vigor 2860. At the moment only the Ethernet WAN on the 2860 is connected. In the DMZ settings under NAT > DMZ Host there is a tab for each WAN but only WAN1 has Active True IP DMZ. Does this mean the True IP DMZ host can only be assigned an external IP from the DSL WAN? How does load balancing / fail-over work with a DMZ host? When I select the WAN MAC of the DD-WRT router on the first tab the DD-WRT WAN IP is set to 0.0.0.0 and when I assign the IP in the WAN2 the DD-WRT WAN is set to that IP but there is no throughput. How do I set up load balance and failover with true DMZ or even a second router if double NAT is unavoidable?
