2830 LAN & WAN2 port lights on steady constantly was created by allwork
Hi, any help appreciated!
I have run my vigor 2830 for around 18 months with no issues but after moving it the LAN ports have stopped working.
The lights are on green (2 per port) on all 4 LAN ports and the WAN2 port all the time and no data is being passed.
Otherwise the router is fine, and wifi is no issue - aNY suggestions as to where to look?
Thanks,
AW

the wan 2 if is on it means the wan 2 is ready (it should blink if data is transmitting)
The Lan leds (left if is on the port is connected (left blinking means data is transmitting) - right led the connection is 1000mbps
are you having all Lan ports connected with ethernet cable? and are you using wan 2 or using the wan1?
Is the router & internet working fine? the led with the name ACT is blinking each 1-2 seconds

Hi babis3g - thanks for answering
The lights used to be off unless connected. They are all without cables plugged in and have both lights on.
The other functions (router, internet, wifi) are fine with ACT blinking regularly as it used to.
Thanks,

If you are not using wan 1 disable it or the same for wan 2, also try to change swap the lan example if you are using the Lan 1 try the Lan 4 ... maybe (not sure) if you have set Vlan etc maybe a conflict ... did you reboot the modems to see if will disappear the issue?
Also when upgrading firmware are you using the *all* or the *rst* file
