We use a couple of different models of Draytek routers for about 20 small locations around the country. Mostly 2820,2830(sb/db) and now a 2860.
The 2830 and 2860 (more the 2830) seem to have issues where the web management page becomes unresponsive and wont load. Our config means that the Web page is accessible from the WAN side (only HTTPS) using the default port (443).
SSH is still possible, however even with a remote reboot (we used to use a scheduled reboot as well) it doesnt bring the Web page back, the unit does reboot though. The only way to bring it back is to to power cycle the unit.
This has been an issue for the past 3 or 4 firmware builds on the 2830's. I cant say for the 2860 as they havent tested out well enough for us to put them in to our production environment. All the devices are on the latest firmwares. Interestingly enough the issue doesnt happen on any of the 2820 models.
