Vigor 130 drop in speed

Vigor 130 drop in speed was created by pollutionblues
Hi all,

I bought a Vigor 130 Modem a few weeks ago to replace my BT Openreach ECI modem however, my IP Profile for my line has dropped from 70Mbps to 56Mbps since using the 130 and my ping has increased by about 20ms.

I put my ECI modem back in and my profile went back up and my ping came down.

Is there anything I can do to solve this?

Try different modem codes

Use modem 4 (because you want a modem code that's 574307) so that you have G.INP and Vectoring support available.

Just upgraded to modem 4 - hopefully speeds will go up now

I'd be interested in hearing your results as I'm considering upgrading the firmware on my Vigor 130. From what I've read you may not see any change straight away as it takes the DSLAM(?) time to pickup that you are running a G.INP enabled device.
