USB Temperature Sensor Email Alerts

I am using the DrayTek USB Temperature Sensor with a Vigor 2860.

Although the graph and SysLog facilities are working well as expected, there doesn't appear to be an option to enable email alerts when the set temperature thresholds are crossed. This would seem to be an obvious feature so does anyone know how to set it up - or is this something for the wishlist?

Send yourself an email from your syslog server?

Thank you for your suggestion.

We are not using a syslog server and would prefer not to have to set one up. After all, the Vigor is able to directly send email alerts for other problems such as DoS attacks, etc.

Maybe it is something for the wish list.

It does have an option to send those alerts - it's under Objects Setting - Notification Object that you set which alerts to send and you set the mailserver under the SMS/Mail Service Object section
From there, the recipient address & notification profile is applied from Applications - SMS/Mail Service Object
