Hi,

This strikes me as a little odd, any useful suggestions gratefully received.

Have a bunch of port redirects set to redirect from 'ALL' to various internal hosts, all works well.
Have a number of open ports also set to pass through from 'ALL' to internal hosts, these do not work... unless I switch the physical connection to WAN2 (to the same fiber router, on the same port, using the same cable)

(I have tried setting the open ports & redirects to bind to the specific WAN interface, same results, all good for WAN2, open ports fail on WAN1)

I have checked and rechecked ad the connection settings for WAN1 & WAN2 are identical, I can only use one at a time as I only have one fiber router.

Any idea why the open ports only work when the cable is plugged into WAN2?

I can't imagine why as you'd expect most people would be using
WAN1 as primary and someone might have noticed this. Do you have
any load balancing or route policy rules that might affect this?
What if you disable WAN2 ?

I would very much agree, I guess it might be something to do the with fiber router, although I can't think what.

No load balancing, and yes this happens with the alternate interface disabled, in both configurations.

re-flashed the firmware, made no difference. Guess I am just lucky!
