2860 Firmware modem code discrepancy was created by machine_silver
Some weeks ago, I did a firmware upgrade on one of our four Vigor 2860N routers. I downloaded the recommended version 3.7.8.3 (574307 / Vector 2) from the UK website and installed it and all was OK.
The router dashboard now shows version 3.7.8.3 (574307_A/B/C HW: A) Build date/time Jun 12 2015 15:23:18.
This week I downloaded the same F/W version again to update another router. The file downloaded was v2860_3783_vector2.zip and the firmware file within that was v2860_3783_574307.all
After installing it this time, the router showed the wrong modem code version - 3.7.8.3 (571801_A HW: A) Build date/time Jun 12 2015 15:23:18
What is the problem here please? Is it the wrong modem code in this version or is there an error in the labelling either in the F/W file or on the Web link?
Regards

If you check under WAN - General Setup - WAN1, there's options to select the modem code, that should be the ADSL part of that modem code, so when the modem switches back to VDSL2 mode, it should show 574307 again ![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/3.png)
