2830 - do I need to setup an INCOMING filter

Hello:

I have setup my filters and VPN on my 2830 for outgoing traffic.
I have numerous incoming port redirections and open ports.
Are the other ports (i.e ports not listed in any of my open or redirected ports) closed by default, or should I setup an incoming data filter on them for extra security?

e.g.

Block all traffic WAN -> lan
Allow ports I need (e.g. port 80,25,21) through with a rule (Wan -> LAN)?

Using NAT takes care of that already so you shouldn't need to make filter rules for every port, but it is useful if you need to control access to those ports i.e. block IP ranges of some countries.
