Import Bind IP to MAC file format was created by simonbritton
Anyone know how to lay out a file to import in to a draytek 3900 for Bind IP to Mac (or any other draytek with the import feature) I mentions the ability in the release notes but none of the guides actually explain how to do it or what file format to use.... I am pulling my hair out trying, will answer my own question if I work it out, a little hint in the release notes would have been nice :D

If you add a couple of entries to your Bind IP list and create a backup it you will have an example to work from.

On the 2860 a Bind IP backup file appears to be an ASCII text file laid out like this (the "End of file!!!" is part of the backup) :

192.168.0.115 00-c0-b7-22-55-a3 UPS_1_
192.168.0.107 00-21-ae-a8-63-ba Neil_PC
192.168.0.123 00-c7-b7-A9-fa-90 UPS_2___
192.168.0.124 00-c2-b7-6b-d0-3d UPS_3_
End of file!!!
