How to map WAN to LAN port? was created by rwassell
Hi,

I've spent quite a bit of time researching this already but I am still not sure how to easily and simply map a WAN connection to a LAN port whilst having the users on the same range of IP addresses.

We have two BT lines, one as a backup for the other so that in the event of a failure using the Load-Balance/Route Policy, WAN2 is used first and it will automatically fail over to WAN1.

WAN2 = BTTWO
WAN1 = BTONE

LAN1 = USER1
LAN2 = USER2

At the moment, both users are using WAN2 as this is at the top of the index in the route policy page.

Both users must be on the same IP range so that they can access shared resources on the network, but by default, I would like USER1 to use WAN2 and USER2 to use WAN1 so that they have their own internet connection but will still fail over to the other if the other WAN fails.

This must be achievable but I just can't work out how to do it.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks

Rob
