I've recently acquired a Vigor 3900 Router but i'm having difficulty trying to figure out how to open specific ports. Previously I have used a Vigor 2920 and a few other models in that line with identical menu for port opening which I found easier to configure open ports etc.. I'm presuming that I need to configure rules in the firewall/filter setup?

What I am trying to do is open Port 38400 to a plex server.The plex server currently resides on ip address 192.168.16.140

Any help would be appreciated.

Set that up under NAT > Port Redirection, you can set whether they're port ranges etc in the settings for that

Thanks for the reply. I had originally setup port Redirect but it was limited. I have just updated the firmware and they have changed the layout and made it possible to add a lot more entries with a profile option which is nice ;).

I had my open ports working ok till the updates any thing changed that may not allow open ports to stop working
