2830 v2 Triple WAN failover was created by chemist_uk
Hello

I am a bit confused about setting up the backup WAN on the new 2830 v2.

I have:

ADSL as WAN1 - Always on
DHCP as WAN2 - Backup when WAN 1 fails <<< This works
USB as WAN 3 - Backup when WAN1 and 2 fails <<< This does not work

I tick the checkbox for WAN1 and WAN2 and the radio button "When all of selected WAN disconnect", when I try to apply this I get a pop-up with "WAN1 is already for backup".
If I do the same but only selecting WAN2, I get a a pop-up saying "No Master WAN for backup".

What I want to achieve is that when WAN1 fails, WAN2 takes over, and this is working. But I also want for WAN3 to take over when WAN1 and WAN2 fail. Am I misunderstanding the configuration settings or is this router not capable of such functionality?

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Jim
