I had been using a Vigor 2820n as my Home Broadband Router for a while.
I frequently made use of the L2TP over IPsec from a Windows Laptop so I could RDP my home PC's and access my NAS when not at home.
Everything worked perfectly.

My girlfriend started to work from home and her employer insist we must use their bog standard rubbish router and she won't have a word said against it.
So I have that installed now and no more VPN

I now have the Vigor 2820n as a WAP/Switch in another room - cat5e from new router and turned off DHCP /set static address in vigor - that seems to work fine.

My question - is there any way possible I could still connect to it via the VPN?
I'm thinking there maybe a specific port I could forward to the 2820 to allow VPN access again?
Not sure if this is possible when using IPsec.
