Hello Folks,

Had 2960 for about 10 months and all has been fairly well apart from the last firmware upgrades!!!

Wished I had not upgraded last two firmware versions. First certificate problem using default certificate on appliance I should have known better than to use it. Anyway got proper certificate installed and had to change default ssl vpn port due to existing port forwarding rule we have in place for a particular service.

Now the router will allow you to login to management gui and then within 10 seconds logs you straight back out!!!

Can anybody assist please?
Firmware 1.2.0

Premier support telephone, what an experience that was. (Sarcasm)

Any assistance appreciated, currently unable to manage appliance until after a reboot which is not ideal during the working day.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

When this occurs, it's recommended to check the syslog output from the router as that would indicate whether another user has logged in using that admin account or some other issue has caused it.
If there is another person logging in to the same account, such as the "admin" account, the router will log out the previously logged in client. In that case, make a new User Profile which has system administration access and log in with that, so that both users can log into the router.
