I'd like to use WAN 3 on a 2830 or 2860 to connect to the internet via a USB cable and my HTC one phone. I appreciate that this may not be possible but other options may be to use a a USB bluetooth or WIFI dongle and connect to my phone that way.

Are any of these options possible?

It won't work but I think the Vigor 2860 can now use WiFi as it's WAN feed, so you enable wifi hotspot on your phone. Neat !
Not sure if it's in release f/w yet.

Oh.. Ok that would be good and I have a 2860 to play with but mine's the one without WIFI. my aim was to set up and test the load balancing/Wan routing but my internet access uses wan2 sso I was looking to find a way to connect to the internet via WAN1 OR WAN3.

I don't think it'll be practical to connect to the DSL port since I have no DSL service so I thought I'd look for a way to connect via the USB to my mobile.
