Inbound QOS was created by mfuller
Hi All,

Have a Draytek Vigor 2820n running 3.3.7.6_232201

I am having problems with incoming QoS. Basically I am a home worker and have 1 SIP phone that I want to have priority over the other home users. QoS outbound is working great, but inbound just doesn't seem to work.

If someone starts downloading a file on a different PC whilst I am on a call, the other party will still be able to hear me, but I start to loose them. I have tried many different methods. I have set EF Class for SIP/RTP, and even just QoS the phones static IP.. all work outbound, but never inbound.

The QoS graph sums it up.. Outbound is being detected, but not inbound.

Any help appreciated.

Are you using an IP phone that connects to a PBX somewhere else (not a draytek system)

We have a cumtomer that uses an OLD nec and you have to do lots of odd things on the router

Try this...

From telnet logged into the router:

> ip arp accept 1

This will return: Accept illegal ARP REPLY packets.

Subsequently issuing the following should return an indication that the status is now enabled:

> ip arp accept status

Also:

sys sip_alg ?

Checks if SIP ALG is enabled or not, if it is:
sys sip_alg 0
sys commit
sys reboot

...also are the incoming ports the same as the outgoing?
