Hello all, setup as follows:
1 x 2860 set as 192.168.1.1
9 x APs set as 192.168.1.101/102/103/104/105/106/107/108/109
2860 DHCP pool set to .10 - .90
Auto provisioning on 2860 set to enabled.
So, when I set this network up, I only installed 5 APs to start with. When I did these, I created a profile for the APs in the 2860 here: Central AP management>WLAN profile>select>edit in the normal way.
Once done, I pushed this to the 5 devices. Note, before I did this I upgraded all firmware to latest version.
I went back to site today to add another 4 APs, but this time, before I added them I set the 2860 to auto privision to save me pushing the config to the APs. This seemed to work OK, but when I look at the central AP dashboard there is information missing.
In the picture below, you can see I have rubbed out the exact AP names & SSID to preserve customer information. You'll also see that I only needed to remove the SSID from 5 APs, as the others do not show the SSID at all. It should say "Joe Bloggs wifi" & underneath "Joe Bloggs 5g" but the info is missing. Also, it does not report the firmware version or encryption type, plus the AP channels are on auto.
It doesn't seem to affect the performance, it's just inconsistent.
Any ideas? Thanks all...
